APPOINTMENT TO MARKET MEDIATION PANEL

We are delighted to announce that Phillippa Rowe has been invited to join INREM, the London Market Insurance and Reinsurance Mediation Panel with immediate effect. INREM is a platform for mediators with experience gained over many years in complex claims and related legal issues. It is a grouping of experienced claims professuionals, underwriters, lawyers, accountants and actuaries who can provide mediation services to the global market by coordination with silimar groupings of mediators, and who believe that the industry neeeds to be able to resort to mediators with long accumulated experience in the insurance and reinsurance market within the professional services of claims and law.

FORTHCOMING EVENTS

On the 16th she will, as Immediate Past Chairman, be chairing The Academy of Experts members' evening meeting at 3 Gray's Inn Square. The topic will be an ADR review, and the speaker will be the eminent mediator, Bill Wood QC.

Also in May, on the 21st and 22nd of the month she will be chairing and speaking at the Falconbury workshop, "Reinsurance Contract Wordings and Disputes".

We have recently discovered that searching the web for "Phillippa Ross & Co" produces a startling number of entries purporting to describe us as "insurance brokers" in Bishop Auckland for various classes of business. We are currently working to have these removed or amended as soon as possible. In the meantime, and for the avoidance of any doubt, we are not insurance brokers, do not provide "insurance services", and are not authorised to do so.
